Since stepping up last year, Mark Shanley, Katherine O’Brien and Matt Gay have been busy reshaping the agency’s creative department. They sat down with Campaign UK to talk about the transition, opportunities and what’s next.

For Matt, the move into leadership has meant shifting the focus from individual creative work to creating the right environment for others to thrive: “It’s about making an environment for the others [creatives] to succeed.”

Kat added: “We all help grow the agency together so we feel like any win for the agency is so exciting for us.”

And while the ambition is to evolve, the team is clear that the agency’s heritage remains central to what comes next: “We don’t want to change everything that has made this agency great for so long; it’s about building on it and finding what is fantastic and what we can add to.”
